BUBONIC PLAGUE.
A SENSATIONAL DISCOVERY. United- Press Association—By Blectrio Telegraph—Copyright. x (Received April 24, 1.15 a.m.)' BRISBANE, April 23. A sensational discovery was made by the health authorities to-day. A shipment of 150 crates o'f bananas from Townsville was found to contain a number of dead rats. One, which was examined, was found to bs infected with plague. All the consignment, was ordered to be destroyed.
