ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.

[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, April 23. A fatal tramway accident occurred today. Arthur Jackson, a school teacher, not noticing tho approach of a tram, in Kyber Pass, was knocked down and so severely injured that he died on the way- to the hospital. A child named James Bevan, .was accidentally killed at Eden Terrace to-day, being run over by a milk-cart. Two boys who were driving the cart did not notice the child. '/ ' A tram-conductor, while fixing the trolley wire, fell off the top of the car and suffered concussion of the brain. _ Hs was unconscious for five hours, and his condition is serious.
