CHRISTCETJRCH. Wednesday, Apeil 22. (Before Mr J. M. Thompson,. J.P., Mr Barrett, ,J.P. and Mr Richardson, J.P.). Dbuxkexxess.— Four first, offenders were fined each 5s and costs.—Andrew Silvester vYhite was remanded for seven days for medical treatment.—William Pearson was fined 40s and costs.

By-Law Offences.—For having ridden bicycles on footpaths, S. Harvey, P. Gillmau, C. Watson, W. Everett, L. Simpson, J. Gregory and 0. Moller w«re fined each 10s and costs.—J. Saddler, who had given a'wrong name- on a previous occasion, was fined 20s and costs, and a charge against P. Augarde was dismissed.—For having ridden without lights after. dark, Alfred Burns and' Stanley Lancaster were also fined each 10s and costs.—Charles Wilson, W. Hiller arid J. Slattcry were fined each 5s and costs for having left vehicles unattended, and A. Landry and 0. Schow were fined 10s and costs for similar offences.—W. F. Burns, G. Carson and J.f, Duncan, who had allowed horses to wandfi: at large, wove each fined 10s and costsT liirOßTrxiNf;.—Anno Hunt, charged with -having importuned passers-by, was fined 20a and costs. Alleged Theft. —Amy Roche, alias Shannon, charged with having stolen a bicycle, was remanded until April 28.
