The Rey Dr Clifford, speaking at Brentford, referred to Lord Rosebery’s inspiring utterance. The “ Times ” expresses surprise at Lord Rosebery counselling resistance to the law, and 'declares that ho has compromised his future by giving unjustifiable sanction to the anarchical pretensions l of irresponsible opponents of the Education Bill.
