[Per Press Association.] GREYMOUTH, Sept. 30.

In connection with the sawmillers’ dispute, a-conference was held here yesterdhy afternoon, when terms were come to in regard toi the prices, which remain as heretofore.

The Tyneside Colliery Company is erecting bins and screens. The min© is clear of water and in good condition, with a large quantity of good coal in sight. Owing- to the backward state of the bins and the screen - , it will be two months before coali is in the market.

A large number of unemployed! in the district propose calling a public meeting to) urge the Government to proceed 'more rapidly with the railway to the State coal mine.
