Four thousand tin plate workers at Llanelly, in Wales, have struck in favour of an eight hours’ shift. FRENCH MINERS’ STRIKE, PARIS, Sept. 29.
The newspaper “Le Temps,” says that the Miners’ National Committee is wholly against the projected general strike.
THE EFFECT OP A STRIKE. NEW YORK, Sept. 30. The price of coal in New York is eighteen dollars (£3 12s) a ton.
