PRESENTATIONS.

At the close of the Presbyterian bazaar at the Canterbury Hall on Saturday, Mr W. T. M’Kay, secretary and treasurer of the bazaar, was presented with'a pair of oil paintings, in recognition of the work he had done in organising the bazaar. The Rev W. J. Gow made tbe presentation, which Mr M’Kay acknowledged. . On Friday evening the employees in Messrs Strange and Company’s furniture factory met to say good-bye to Mr W, Godfrey, who has been manager of the factory for the past three years, but has now severed his connection with the firm.Mr H. Owen voiced the regret of all at Mr Godfrey’s departure, and Mr P. Jenkins, on behaif of the employees, presented him with a handsome illuminated address framed in oak. Mr Godfrey suitably replied. The address was signed by over one hundred employees at the factory.
