FRESH TENDERS INVITED. [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, Sept, 1. A private cable message received here states that the Government is inviting fresh tenders in London for a South African service. These close en Sept. 4. . THE ACTING-PREMIER'S VIEWS. [Pkr Press Association.] WELLINGTON', Sept. 1. With reference, to the Dunedin message stating that fresh tenders arc being called for a steamship service to South Africa, Sir Joseph Word states that he has received word to the same effect. He thinks the time too short, and has cabled to this effect, and also that tenders should bo called in the colony as well as< in England.
