PRESENTATIONS.

On Friday evening the employees of Messrs H. Quano and Co., met to say farewell to Mr W. 11. Rhodes, jun., who has had charge of the customs and insurance departments of H. Quane and Co. for the the past three years, and is now leaving for Amberley. Mr Rhodes was presented with a very handsome set of pipes, and an address as a token of the esteem and friendship in which he is held by his fellow workers. A very pleasant evening wa.s spent, and tie guest’s health was drunk with musical honours. . At Rangiora, on Friday, Mr J. G. Macdonald received a handsome liqueur stand as a wedding present from the Rangiora Cricket Club. Mr G. H. N. Helmore made the presentation on behalf of the members.
