The. body of a Kanaka, strapped to a log and terribly mutilated, has been discovered in a water hole at Ingham, a town on the North Queensland coast. A BANQUET TO MR BARTON. SYDNEY, April 19. Arrangements are being made for a banquet to Mr Barton in Sydney prior to his departure for London.
