The Golf Tournament this morning was devoted to the Approachinig and Putting Competition., competotoirs to hole the ball faom three were twenty-two competitors. Blomfield (Auckland), Gillies (Auckland), Ho&on (W e - ington) and A. Duncan (Wellington) tied with nine for first place. > In 4he pley-ofi Blcan-fi-d won wiih nine. Gillies, Hodscn and Duncan tied for second place. Guhes won the play-off with nine, Hodson being eleven and Duncan ten. . . *•■.?„„ C. E.. Gillies won the Driving Competu'.on (266yds).
