FIRES
[Pee Press Association'.] NELSON, August 5. A seven-roomed house, owned and occupied by,Mr Vere Bogle, was burned to tire ground early last evening A portion of the furniture was saved. The cause is supposed to be a candle, which was left too near a curtain, in a bedroom occupied by Mr Bogle’s children. The house and the contents were both insured, but particulars are not yet available.
