THE BISHOP OF DURHAM. United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, July 29. The death is announced of Dr Wescott, Bishop of Durham; aged seventy-six. (Dr Wescott had an unusually brilliant career at Trinity College, Cambridge, where he was educated. _ Afterwards he was, in turn, an assistant master at Harrow, a canon of Peterborough Cathedral, an honorary chaplain to Queen Victoria, a chaplain to the Archbishop cf Canteibury, and a canon cf Westminster.
