OPERA HOUSE.

There was a apod audience at the Opera House on Saturday night, and the Johnson, Riano and Bentley combination in excellent form, submitted their amusing sketch, "The Monkeys and the Farmer,' creating roars of. laughter. Mr L. Wart on's new sketch was very well received, and a fcarty welcome was ,eiv*en to Miss Marie Terry. Mr Wallace King was as popular as ever, and he received a double encore. Miss Elsie Rosser and the Galardi Sisters contributed successful items. Miss Irene Franklin, from Williamson's pantomime, Sydnev, will make her first appsao-ance at the Owera House to-night. Miss Franklin's "turn" is something entirely new, and as a child of. s the old Creole district herself, her coon songs and characterisations carry all the emphasis of a personal knowledge of their traditions.
