Avon should be played! later on in the season. The application was refused, and the match was awarded- to the United by default. The rules as drafted by the Rules Revision Committee were adopted. It was decided to institute a six-aside tournament on Victoria Day, afid if possible to arrange one this season, to be held in Christchurch. It was decided to play the Thursday v. Considerable discussion, took place on the action of the Appeal and Protest Committee in the appeal of the Christchurch-Adding-ton senior match.
