This Scholarship ia open to all persons, male or female, born in the colony of New Zealand who at the time of examination ehail be between the <"ges of sixteen and twenty years, and who have not kept terms or 'attended lectures or held a scholarship in any University or College, and who shall satisfy the Council of the College that neither they r.or their parent* or guardians can obtain for them a University education without pecuniary aid. The holder of this Scholarship will not be allowed to hold concurrently a Junior University Scholarship. Candidates are required to give in their names on or before the Ist October to tho Registrar, from whom further information may be obtained.
