Alleged Assault.—William Logan was charged with having assaulted James Hacker on June 28. Hacker was found by the police on Friday night, apparently suffering from a severe blow up on the head, an d stated that Logan had inflicted the iniuries, but he failed to put in an appearance at Court. On the application of *be police Logan was remanded until July 3 bail being allowed in two sureties of £lO each.
