LONDON, June 28. fm the House of Lords, Earl Selboume gtatedl that the committee appointed to inquire into the defences of Gibraltar had reported that the western docks were more open to land fire than the eastern, side, and recommended a modification of the -western work. The construction of a harbour, dock, workshops and coaling facilities- Would cost at least five millions.
