The Stephenson memorial window, just erected in 6t Matthew's Church .by'four of the chaldreni of the late Mr John Stephenson, is a very handsome testimony of the capable 'workmanship of a. local, artist in stained glass work, mr R. The Commission are called on to report within forty days, but an extension of time is certain to be required. Mr William M'Hutcheson, chief clerk a* tChe Duneilfn post office, 'has been' transferred to ©lmstdhurch, where he will talks up a similar position. .Mr G. B. monev order clerk at Duaedin, will succeed Mr M'Hutcheson here. Mr W. T. Ward, second money order clerk at Dunedin, succeeds Mr Dall as first money order clerk. Mr Millar, whom Mr' M'Hutcheson succeeds at Christchiirch, 'becomes an Inspector, of Post Offices •in 'the (North Island.
