■ An oldi unoccupied ■ (house, situated-.-out the seashore at Gollan’s Bay,-rnear .Lyttelton, was burned down early- yasterdlay. It was owned by' MrJohn ' Wakelin/wha lives next door, and who had 'thirteen, tana' of hay and. . some other stored in the building, which,- with its contents, was destroyed. The cause, of the fire has, not been. ascertained' The building was insured for £7O in the Phoenix office, and The hay for £2O in the Royal oflice. - -i, i
