THE VOLUNTEERS.
BATTALION CAMP AT ELMWOOD. Yesterday morning. the companies in camp were exercised in company movements, under their respective officers. In the evening the battalion maxdhed to Hagley Park, and some good drill was put in, the attack practice being the principal feature. Captain Fisher {Civil Service) was officer of the day, with Lieutenant Johnston (Linwood) am subaltern, and the Sydenham Rifles furnished tlu) guard.
