ACCIDENT TO A SHIP.
HER MIZZEN-TOPMAST GONE, [Pun Pirnss AssoLi-.i'iON.] AUCKLAND, Jan. 10. The Hawea, which arrived from Gisborne to-day, reports passing a full-rigged ship, bound, northward, with her mizzen-topmast gone, at 4.20 p.m. on Jan. 8, off Portland Island.
