CHINESE WORKSHOPS. DENUDED BY THE RUSSIANS. RUSSIAN ACTIVITY AT PORT ARiTHUR AND TALIENWAN. LONDON, Jan. 8. Russia has denuded the workshops at Tongshan and Shanhaikwan of their machinery and other materials. Only the bare Avails are left. , Dredgers are converting Port Arthur and TalienAvan, which has been renamed Port Cahzig, into strong base harbours. The largest warships rvill soon be able to anchor at Port Arthur.
