The military occupation of the province of Fcngtien, in Manchuria, by Russia', is semi-officiaUy minimised. It is now stated that it is only temporary. The Odessa, correspondent of the “ Times ” states that this year thirty-five thousand Russian troops from Odessa will reinforce the army of one hundred and seventy thousand men which Russia; already has in the Par East. Other troops will go overland.
