A match was played at Lyfctelton .on Wednesday between the Christchurek and .Lytteiton Clubs,. and refuted in a victory lor the cmb by six games. The treasurer's statement; showed that there wa3 a small credit balance. It was 'staved that during the year 'fourteen matches had been played, and the club h?.d won ten. The following officers were elected: —Patron,' Mr W. Beece; president, Mr T. S. Poster; vice-presidents, Messrs S. Garforth, G-. T. Chisnali; T. Bassett, and C. D. Morr.s .and the Rev J. M'Kenzie; honorary secretary, Mr F. S. Candy; honorary treasurer, Mr D. E. Wood; commit;ee, Messrs Craig, Lewis, Hughes, Kirk and Gillies; auditor. Miss Morrison.
