FIRES.

Ou Oct. 6 iur unoccupied' three-roomed wooden house at Pleasant Point Pioa.d, Washdyke, the property of Mrs S. E. James, was burned down. It is not known how the fire originated. The house was valued at £BO, and was insured for £6O in the Royal Standard office.
