REV CHARLES CLARK.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —No doubt many old men, who are still learning, make it a point to "look up" any word which they hear pronounced by 11 polished speaker in a manner to which their ears seem unaccustomed. After hearing that evergreen orator, though now hoary veteran," the Rev Charles Clark, the dictionary agreed with me concerning two words, and with the lecturer as to the delivery of another word. I regretted the absence of the younger portion of the population, and think that the superior schools might advantageously be represented in force. —I am, etc., JOSEPH.
