Butchers!: .cross-bred ewes brought from 10s 3d to 12s 3d, tow-tooths 11s lid ‘to ■ 12s Yd, merino ewes 8s U- to 8s 7d„ and lambs 9s 9d. Store / sheep, brought : Merino ewes in lamb 6s 9d to 9s Bd, cfossbred ewes from, 11s 7d to l4s 6d, .lambs up to 12s sd, turnip sheep 11s 3d. Cattle were dull, good beef bringing 18s per 1001 b, cowbeef 12s 6d to 15s, fat cows from £3, to £5, beifers from £4 to £5 10s, steers from £4 12s 6d to £7 2s 6d.
