CARD MATCHES.

A euchre and cribbage match was played a* the Lyttelton Fire Brigade Station' on Friday evening between teams from the Brigade and the Young Men’s Club. After a close contest, the Brigade won by one point, the scores being, forty-one to forty. The first round of the Rangiora cribbage tournament ended on Friday, the result of the evening’s play being: —The Templars beat the Oddfellows by 24 to 23; the Druids beat Rangiora Fire Brigade by 27 to 21;; the Band won, by default from the Volunteers ; and Southbrook had a bye.
