FOR PERNOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned CROWN LANDS will bo opened for application at this Office on MONDAY, the 26th JUNE, 1899, under the provisions of “ The Land Act, 1892,” “ The Land for Settlements Acts,” and the Workmen’s Homes Clauses of the regulations made under the last-mentioned Acts. Applications must be made only on the special forms which are obtainable at this office, and every applicant will be required to appear before the Land Board, and furnish satisfactory evidence of the bona fides of bis application, and that he is a workman within the meaning of the above-men-tioned regulations. TAMAI HAMLET. This Hamlet is situated in the Borough of Woolstou, on the north side of Ferry Road, and about 5 chains back therefrom, abont a quarter .of a mile eastward from St Peter’s Church. The Settlement has been subdivided into 40 allotments, varying in size from half-an-acre to 2 acres. The annual rentals per acre vary from £3 4s Od to £5. The greater portion of the settlement comprises good soil, with a clay subsoil on sand, and is excellently adapted for residential and gardening purposes.
