[Pee Press Association.] ROTORUA, May 25. .The Victorian Commissioners arrived last night from Wanganui, ep route for Auckland, having visited the Makohine viaduct, in process of construction. They were much impressed with the Government workshops and the magnitude of the undertaking, and enquired into the co-operative system of employing men on earthworks. Messrs Cook and Sneddon, engineers, showed them over the works. They visited the Otihape improved farm. They were much struck with the grandeur of the scenery in the Itoapehu and Ngaruahoe Mountains, where the roadj was covered thickly in places with, snow. They visited the Wairakei Geyser Valley, and were much astonished at the grandeur and number of the geysers and boiling springs and the lakes.
