LOCAL BILL, THE CHRISTCHURCH CITY BORROWING. lating to Local Bills, notice is hereby given that application will be made to Parliament at its next approaching session, after the date of this notice, for leave to introduce a Bill to empower the City of Christchurch to BORROW the sum of THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND POUNDS for the following purposes ; “To pay off the Bank Overdraft at a lower rate of interest, and, further, to provide funds for the Council to carry out the fallowing necessary works:—The Purchase of a Central Yard, and Erection of the necessary Buildings thereon (including a Morgue); Erection of Three Bridges at Antigua Street, Colombo Streetand East Town Belt, and the payment for the Purchase of a Site for a Fire Brigade Station and the Erection of the necessary Buildings thereon for Housing of tho Firemen, Horses and Engines.” A Copy of the said proposed Bill is deposited in the Stipendiary Magistrate's*Court, Christchurch, and at the Office of the said Council, where the same is OPEN POE PURSUANT General i General Assembly of New Zealand reto the Standing Orders of the vviiHLiif wucry uuo Boiuiy iu \j jPUBLIC INSPECTION.
