The anniversary of the Cambridge Terrace Primitive Methodist Church will be held to-morroAV. The preachers are Rev C. E. Ward, W. Baumber, and Dr Erwin. Messrs T. Barry and C. W. Comer have been returned as members of the Spreydon Road Board. The annual Chrysanthemum Show of the Addington Horticultural Society will be opened at the Sehvyn Street Schoolroom on Tuesday at 2.30 p.m. The M’Adoo Jubilee Minstrels are at present touring the northern district, and will appear at Rangiora on Thursday evening. A meeting of the Independent Liberal and Labour Association Avill be held l at the Hall, Carlyle Street, Sydenham, at eight o’clock, on Wednesday evening. Mr.S. Hurst Seager, A.R.1.8.A., Avill commence a course of six illustrated lecigft® B on “Ancient Architecture and OxnaiaSntal Art,” at Canterbury College, sSinmencing on May 16, at eight p.m. Entries for the Winter Show of the Canterbury Agricultural and Pastoral Association, which takes place next month, close on June 7. . The Kaiapoi Brass Band Avill play selections at the corner of Hilton Street this evening. Messrs C. J. Harper and E. Taylor have been elected members of the Eangitata Road Board. .
