THE ERNEST TOY CONCERTS.

A well-attendccLfarewell concert-was: given by the Ernest Toy Concert Company at- thc Choral Hall yesterday afternoon. Mr Toy's solos were De Beriot’s “ Scene de Ballet ” and a “ Romance ” by Svensdan. In conjunction with Miss Renee Lees he played the “ Scherzo and Rondo ” and the “ Allegro con Brio ” from Beethoven’s Fifth and Seventh Sonatas respectively. Miss Renee Lees was most successful in her piano solo numbers, Liszt’s “ Rhapsodic No. 11 ” and Chopin’s “Ballade in A Flat,” securing an encore for the first piece. Miss Hand Dai-ry-Triple sang “Sunshine and Rain..”' and “ Home, Dearie, Home.” Miss Alice Simmons was-nimble to appear, owing to-a. severe cold. ‘Mr James Jago gave a song. Miss C. Lingard was the accompanist.
