The New Zealand polo team defeated a team from the Melbourne Club by eleven goals twenty-onc-behinds, to three goals. WRECK OF A BARQUE. BRISBANE, April 24. The Japanese steamer brought with her the crew of the British barque Clwyd, picked up after several days in an open boat. The Clwyd was wrecked on the Prates shoal, on the voyage from Hongkong to Peru, with a cargo of rice. THE FEDERAL BILL. At least two members of the Queensland Cabinet will take an active part in the crusade against the Commonwealth Bill.
