ENTERTAINMENTS.

The anniversary tea meeting of the Kaiapoi Wesleyan Church was, held in the schoolroom on Tuesday evening, and was very largely attended. The ladies who presided and provided tables were Misses Wilson, Moore, Blackmore and Croft, Mesdames Alexander, Gaarder, W. Weston, Leithhead, H. Keetley and W. Bradley. After tea addresses were given by Revs J. Orchard and W. J. Gaw, and Messrs Blackwell and Evans, At the close a hearty vote of thanks svas accorded to all who had assisted during the year. Instrumental and vocal items were given during the evening.
