GRAIN AND PRODUCE. The grain market-does not.appear to show any more animation than it did last week. Two or three small lots of mixed wheat have been sold - for export-on the-basis or 3s 6d for Tuscan, and 3s 2d to-3s-5d for Hunters, both f.o.b. Nothing has leen, doing in local oats, and Southlands are still offering freely, at about 2s 3d for A grade, and 2s for B. delivered at Christchurch. There has been a little business passing in chaff for export, on the basis of 56s at country stations. The following are quotations: Wheat (nominal).—Pearl and Tuscan 3s 3d, Hunter’s 3s 4cl. Oats.—Stout feed 2s 3d to 2s 4d, Duns 2s 2d to 2s 3d. Flour.—Millers quote roller £lO,, stone £9, sharps £4. bran £3. OatmealA—£l3. Oatsheaf Chaff.—Sss at country stations for bright clean quality. iteas.—liiue Prussian 4s 2d to 4s 3d, Partridge 3s 3d to 3s 6d. Seeds.—E.yegrass, farmers’ dressed lines 2s 6d to 3s 3d, and extra choice up to 3s 6d. Cocksfoot, farmers’ dressed lines to 3Ri, and extra choice 3£d. Cowgrass 3d to 6d. White clover, 5Jd to 7d. ■ Dairy Produce.—Cheese 3Jd to 4d, loaf 4d to sd, factory (large) 4d to 4jtd. Butter—Fresh factory 10d, ditto in boxes 8d to.9d, best dairy 7d to Bd, salt in boxes 6d to 7d for prime.
