[Per Press Association.! WELLINGTON, Oct. 29. Mr J. Halliday, chief clerk of the Union Company here, has been transferred to Dunedin, where he will occupy a responsible position in the traffic department of the head office. He will be succeeded by Mr E. L. Biss. The bankruptcy is announced of C. J. Olivecrona, wool merchant, trading with C. Ekergren as Olivecrona, M’Donald and Co. The firm’s unsecured creditors number fortyseven, to whom £7480 is owing. There are secured creditors for £1167, the amount of security being £1237. The largest unsecured creditors are Morrison and Co., London, £3173; Turnbull and Co., London, £2464; and three Swedish firms £3OO each. The assets only amount to £32. Olivecrona’s private estate shows liabilities £6OB and assets £l6l.
