United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, August 21. Playing against Nottingham, A. Trc.tt made 77 runs, and took thirteen wickets for 178.
The opening match of the Belfast Cricket Club season took place on Saturday afternoon between teams picked by the president and vice-president respectively. The former team made 77 runs and the latter 30. A. Smith and H. Ford were the highest) scorers. Despite the cold wind blowing, there was a good attendance 6t spectators, including several ladies. Afternoon tea was dispensed by lady friends.
