AUCKLAND NEWS.
[Per Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 15. H.M.S Torch will sail from Onehunga to-morrow for 'Wellington, and will call at a coastal port. John Ferguson, arrested on the Moana on a charge of embezzlement at Sydney, was remanded for a week. The Tutanekai arrived at seven o’clock this morning. The native prisoners werfe taken to Mount Eden gaol in ’buses under an armed escort of the police and the permanent force. They seemed in good humour and in no way depressed. DINNER SETS.
