TPbb Pbrss Association.] AUCKLAND, April 18. Women are being nominated this year to contest seats on the city school committees, also some" suburban committees. , , The Hon. J. Carroll left this evening for the south by the Penguin. He intends attending the tangi proceedings at Wanganui over the late Major Kemp. Mr Clifton, Chief Inspector of Stock for the district, is in Hamilton for the purpose of making inquiries connected with the establishment of a State farm. Certain land a short distance from Hamilton is mentioned as being well adapted, and its acquisition is spoken of.
