Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London office under date April 15 : Frozen Meat. The market is quiet. Prime New Zealand frozen mutton (crossbred) is worth 3£d per lb for light weights, and 3d to 3Ad for heavier; frozen lamb 4-Id for best quality, and 4d to 4Ad for fair, Queensland mutton (merino) 2|d; beef, hindquarters 3f d, forequarters 2-Jd per lb. Tallow. The market is very dull and nothing is doing. We expect a decline in prices at next sales. Wheat.—The market is unsettled and dull for distant shipments as compared with nearer.
