CONSTANTINOPLE, April 16. The Foreign Ambassadors at Constantinople have sent a joint note to the Porte, requesting the evacuation of Thessaly within a month. PREFERENTIAL TRADE. OTTAWA, April 16. The Toronto Branch of the British Empire League has passed a resolution in favour of preferential trade between Great Britain and the colonies. It also declares that Canada ought to contribute to Imperial defence more liberally.
