It is essential thattho photographs sent in should he snitabie for reproduction iti the paper; otherwise, they will be considered ineligible for competition. Pictures which have previously appeared in other journals are ptohibited. Photojrr -pha may bo printed cm any paper by any process, and may be of any size, provided they ha not smaller than qnarier-plate. They must he 'mean ted on plain card mounts. Competent judged have been secured, who are’ instructed to consider First, Autistic Bxceixkkce ; Record, TuciusnCAX Kxtnglesce ; third, StmißiLinf for Bei-iuiductiob'. PRIZES. The prizes will he : —First, 2gs; second, Ig ; third, 1", together with bound copies of Stoddart’s photographs of famous cities, scenes and paintings. JUDGES.
