T&JOTICE is hereby given that the undermen, la Honed, lands will he opened for application on LEASE in PERPETUITY, under the Land for Settlements Acts and Regulations, on TUESDAY, APRIL sth, 1898. The Land Board will sit at this office on WEDNESDAY, April 6th, to consider applications and examine applicants, and the first ballot for the allotment of sections will bo held on THURSDAY, April 7th, 1898, at noon. PAWAHO HAMLET, Heathcota Valley, comprising 24 allotments ranging in size from half-an-acre to three acres, and one allotment of four acres three roods, with dwelling-house, out* buildings and orchard. Seventeen of these allotments lie between the Christchurch-Lyttelton railway line and the metalled road skirting the foot of the hills to Heathcote Valiev, all of them having frontage to this road. 'I ho remaining eight allotments are situated on the lower slopes of the spur on which ; the Lyttelton Borough Reservoir stands. The whole forms the well-known farm lately occupied, by Mr Charles Menzies for grazing and dairy pur., poses.
