The attendance was good, and first-rate shooting resulted. There were forty-eight aeoeptancfis. >The following tied, billing all their birds, nine:—First nominations — :Honehill, : M’Culloch,. Fred Redwood and Jfingdon ; second nomination — Hamilton, -Bedictbclv -H. Point, S. Vickery and H. Ecoles.- They agreed each to take .£lO, aid shopt "off three birds for the remaining ■£2o. In shooting off Hamilton, Eedwood ■ iand.Kingdon tied, and divided the £2O. ■They then shot off for love, and at Hie fifth birdKingdon ecored-a miss, the bird diop:ping just outside the boundary, hard hit. Ixhe excitement at shooting off was very great, and Hamilton and Eedwood were Cheered. Chavannes, jnn., killed eight birds.
