ODDFELLOWSHIP.

The annual meeting of the Loyal Addington Dodge, M.U., was held on Monday, N.G, Bro Murray presiding. After the sick business and correspondence had been disposed of, the election of officers was proceeded with, the result being as follows : V. Bro Thompson, N.G.; P.G. Bro Candy, V.G.; Bro Simes, E.S.; P.G. Bro W. Johnston and G.M,. Bro H. V. Free, auditors; G.M. Bro 11. V. Free, lecturemaster, A Hall Committee was also elected. The election of medical officers was held over until next Lodge night. P.P.G.M. Bro Clarke explained the society’s reason for withdrawing its Art Union. "'he quarterly meeting of the Leilh(aeld Lodge, M.U., was held on Friday, when a large number of members were present, and N.G. Bfo J. 11. Timms presided. Correspondence was read, declaring three members on the sick list and from the P.C.S., enclosing password. D.P.G.M. Bro M’Lean, on behalf of the Lodge, presented P.G. Bro J. Parker with a framed certificate of merit. The following were elected officers for the ensuing term N.G., Bro C. Sutherland; Y.G., Bro'G. Bruiro; E.S.P.G.. James Fitzpatrick; R.S. to N.G., John Fitzpatrick; L.S. to N.G., D. Palmer ; R.S. to V.G., Bro Duncan Dron; L.S. to Y.G., P.G. Smyth ; Warden, Bro Palmer; 1.G., P.G. Bro D. Shaw. It was resolved that P.G. Master Bro D. M’Lean should bo presented with a framed certificate of merit, that his name should he placed on the respect board and that he should receive the Purple Degree. Also, that a motion should bo brought before the next district raeetiu g that au application ho made to the Government to grant the same reduction to members of Friendly Societies at the Hanmer Plains Sanatorium as is granted at Rotorua. The receipts for the evening amounted to £42 Os 3d and the expenditure to <£l7 10a 9d.
