Received Dec. 28, 9.58-a.m, THE KLONDYKE GOLDFIELD. SYDNEY, Dec. 28,
Private letters from miners at Klondyke warn Australians against going there, owing to the rigour of the climate and the difficulties in reaching the field. The writers admit that the Klondyke is wonderfully rich, but so many thousands of Americans and Canadians are ready to rush the field when the spring comes, that it will be wise for visiting Australians to make provision for ■returning in the event of failure.
