Sib,—-I see you have several letters on the early closing. It appears to me that the employers are in favour of shorter hours, as they have not responded _to “ Urgent Reform ” and others. I think it is time for tho employes that they looked after their own interests and demanded shorter hours. I see in your correspondence columns that some people work 62 hours per week. This is absolute slavery. Would the employers like to work under the same conditions ?—1 am, Ac.,
