The Lyttelton Times. SATURDAY, JULY 31, 1897.

Messrs Huddart, Parker and Co.’s steamer Tasmania struck a rook off the Mabia Peninsula, between Gisborne and Napier, on Thursday night, and sank in about a couple of hours.
